When you are ready, I will offer you a robe to use after you disrobe in the ladies room. I will also be wearing a robe. I will ask you to lie face down with the robe covering your back with the pillow supporting your neck and head. In this fashion, I can use the robe to cover you and keep you warm for the areas not being worked. I will adjust the heater to your comfort level. I use warmed massage oil so your skin isn’t shocked by cold oil. First I will start at your neck area. (When you turn over later, I will work on your ears and forehead.) I want you to always breathe slowly and deeply. Also, please express any pleasure you are feeling as the massage progresses. Things like “oh, that’s good or A little more/less pressure or that’s the spot…. Will help me know how you are receiving the pressure. I can feel the knots and tight spots. But this is about your comfort level. Gentle rubbing around your neck sides and then the back of your neck working slowly with long strokes down each side of your back and sides of your ribs. There will be a slow concentration around the lower portion of your back that receives much of the stress deriving from your upper torso. Your back will be covered so I can focus on your lower legs and feet. The massage will move from the feet up your torso to drive the toxins up and out of your body. (Thru urination). This is why you will be thirsty after the massage. Cool water will always be available (or other desired beverage) If desired, a gentle massage of the bottom area that takes all the pressure of sitting. (per your comfort ). 2nd portion: I will ask you to flip. Your robe will still act to keep you warm. The pillow will be placed under your knees to avoid stress to you lower back. Your face, forehead and ears will be focused on. Your neck under your chin, chest and stomach will get a gentle workout to your comfort level. Then each arm, hand and fingers will be done. I will then do your ankles and feet. (Some are too sensitive for this, your choice as always.) Your upper portion of your legs and thighs will be then massaged to drive the toxins up and out.
